WHAT IS THE CANCELLATION POLICY?

We understand plans sometimes change. We are pleased to offer guests a full refund up to fourteen (14) days prior to arrival. If you are forced to cancel past that date, we are unable to offer a refund but will work with you to host you at a different date.
DO THE HOUSES HAVE A BEACH?
At the Asher and Fox, the amount of sandy beach depends on lake conditions and fluctuates considerably. On days when the lake is calm, we can sometimes have 10-20 feet of sandy beach especially at the Asher. Other times, the beach is smaller and rockier.
Regardless of beach levels, swimming is always possible directly from the houses.
CAN WE RESERVE BOTH HOUSES?
Absolutely! The Asher and Fox were designed to accommodate multiple families and sets of friends across the houses. Reach out directly for special rates for booking both houses.
DO YOU OFFER EARLY CHECK IN OR
LATE CHECK OUT?
We always do our best to arrange for the house to be ready prior to the 4 pm guaranteed check-in though this is often not possible in
busier seasons.
Regrettably, we often cannot offer late check-outs as our housekeeping team requires time to prepare the house for the next guests.
DO YOU PERMIT EVENTS?
As much as we would love to host large gatherings, due to noise and traffic concerns, we have a strict prohibition on any events or large gatherings, including weddings and bachelorette/bachelor parties.
DO THE HOUSES HAVE AIR CONDITIONING?
The Asher has central air-conditioning. The Fox House does NOT have air-conditioning, however, most of the bedrooms have ceiling fans and we provide numerous additional fans to keep the house cool.
DO YOU ALLOW PETS?
We allow one (1) well-behaved dog per stay along with a $250 pet fee. We ask that guests carefully review our pet policies, including not permitting dogs on the furniture and keeping dogs leashed at all times when outside.
WHAT TYPE OF COFFEE DO YOU PROVIDE?
Each house is stocked with a Breville espresso machine that guests may use for espresso, lattes, and americanos. We also have drip coffee makers for brewing larger pots.
We provide gourmet whole and ground coffee for both machines along with coffee filters.
WHAT IS THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN
THE ASHER AND FOX?
We are asked this question frequently and like children, each has a different personality and we love them both so much!
As for differences, Fox has more of a charming cozy cottage-vibe with layered saturated colors and textures. The Asher is a bit more contemporary in its layout and has a larger lawn and hot tub. The Fox, however, has four bedrooms and three full baths whereas the Asher has three bedrooms and two full baths.
