The name “Vose” honors Founder and Creative Director Sara Roitman’s grandmother, Virginia Vose Barnes, whose grace, style, and infectious warmth inspire every guest experience.
Founded in 2022, Vose has already gained recognition as a premier hospitality brand, including being featured multiple times on Behind the Stays, a podcast showcasing the country’s best Airbnb and short-term rentals and included in the book, Back to the Woods – Unique Stays of Wisconsin and Minnesota.
Sara was surrounded by creativity from a young age - growing up in New England among her family's fine art gallery and home store. Sara originally pursued a career in law practicing in New York City and Chicago for over a decade. In 2022, Sara left the legal field to pursue her passion of creating luxury vacation spaces that are beautiful and inspiring.
With a keen eye for design and a commitment to exceptional customer service, Sara has quickly grown Vose into a nationally recognized hospitality brand celebrated for its curated design, style, and outstanding hospitality. In 2023, Sara was the first guest on the web series, "The Next Generation of Hospitality Entrepreneurs," by the popular hospitality company, Staywatch.
Sara is involved in every aspect of the business and remains dedicated to creating unforgettable experiences for guests and showcasing the beauty and diversity of Vose's locations.
Sara lives outside of Chicago with her husband and three children.
